Wissenschaftliche/r Mitarbeiter/in (PostDoc)

We are looking for a PostDoc or Doctorate candidate (m/f/d) with a great interest in experimental neuroscience or immunological research, who enjoys teaching and supervising students.

Your tasks will include the collaboration and further development of our research projects on neuronal circuits for emotional learning and stress adaptation (AG Albrecht, or on mucosal immunology in pigs (AG Rothkötter) and teaching anatomy for medical students (in German, level B2).

Requirements are a university degree in medicine, veterinary medicine, biology, neuroscience or related subjects (doctorate is an advantage) and previous experience in molecular and biochemical analysis methods (Western blotting, immunocytochemistry and histochemistry, as well as gene expression analysis using qPCR, RNAscope). Knowledge and experience in cell culture or mouse behavioral analysis and stereotactic injections is an advantage but not a must.

The position is to be filled from October 1st, 2022, full-time and limited until September 30th, 2024 (salary according to group TVLE13 100%).
